What Does It Mean To Have A Vata Dosha?

Vata Dosha in Ayurveda is made up of air & ether, active & relaxed, and structured by activity, movement, and travel. The Vat is considered to be the King of Doshas” as it energizes the other three Doshas (Shapha, Pitta, and Kapha) – digestion, mobility and absorption. This energy has a unique, dynamic quality. When Vat energy is not in balance it will produce negative effects on the health and mental well-being of human beings.

The Vat is manifested mainly in the abdomen below the navel – colon, pelvic, stomach, and liver. The energy passes into the kidneys through the kidneys, small intestine, and large intestine. This energy can also move up the spine, heart, and lungs when it is balanced.

To understand Vat well, we need to first understand what it means in its genuine sense. Vats ‘moving or acting’ or ‘acting of energy’.

How Do I Reduce Vata Imbalance?

When Vat is unbalanced, the three Doshas are unbalanced with each other and their energies become imbalanced too. This leads to an imbalance in all aspects of the body.

The first step in balancing Vat is in understanding the three Doshas. Vat is associated with the Vat and not the Pitta or Kapha. If the energy flowing from Pitta flows down the belly into the colon, it becomes unbalanced.

Active energy flows down the belly and Pitta down the colon. If Pitta or Kapha flows down the colon into the belly, it becomes unbalanced. Here, Pitta, the active side, is affected. Similarly, Vat is affected if the energy coming from Kapha flows down the belly or flows back into the Pitta.

As stated above, Vat is associated with Pitta & Kapha. If these two are unbalanced, it becomes unbalanced. Therefore it is so important to know and understand how your Vat works.

How Can I Reduce My Vata?

When the Vata is not balanced, we can experience a lot of discomfort and disorders. Our bodies respond to stimuli by burning off stored fat (and by taking on water) and the production of neurotransmitters that cause us to experience many physical symptoms. The most common symptoms are aches, cramps and pains, bloating, and vomiting. It’s also common to experience fatigue. We may even find it hard to stay awake during the day.

However, we can’t just “let go” of our feelings of pain and physical pain and let our bodies deal with it. That’s why we need to learn how to balance out our Vata with moderation. This process is called Hatha Yoga, and it’s the most basic form of yoga that we can practice in our everyday lives. The best way to do this is by combining Hatha Yoga with an all-around healthy diet. This way your body is getting all the nutrients it needs for the most healthful functioning.

There is a lot of confusion about what it means for your body to have an overabundance of Hatha Yoga postures and breathing exercises. The fact of the matter is that the more Hatha poses and breathing exercises you do, the less the Vata will become an issue. And because the body and mind are always connected, when you’re performing the more basic yoga postures and breathing exercises in harmony with your body and mind, you’ll soon notice that you feel better than ever.

I just would like and welcome to another episode of Cosmic Monday. You know, a lot of you may have seen or asked these questions, you know, what is your basic body type, you know, in the Western or the medical terms there? Ectomorph type menso and endorse. But in your view, the crowd is the energies that govern the cosmos and of course, going over bodies and everything around us. And this is part of the puzzle.

[00:00:30.330]

You know, each one of us is a little of a personality as we are born is comes into our character defined by one of these energies or the one that is higher than the others, which gives us the qualities of that energy and the personality of that energy teacher. I wanted to discuss those, which is about body type, the better body type of the kuffar blood type. And today we’ll discuss the pit outside the bottom body type.

[00:01:04.800]

And, you know, whatever comes with the qualities of cold, subtle, rough, clear mobile because it’s made from the element space in the ear. So exactly what space and air comprise their qualities being dry, being mobile, and being rough is the similar qualities that apply to the individual. Sure. And you can see that by their physical appearance, as you know, ectomorph, and of course by the characters and their mental ability and their emotions, which are also governed highly more volatile than they are at the pit of the castle.

[00:01:46.920]

So a lot of body type is slim, thin, bony, tall, and maybe too short, but very skinny. And, you know, the bones are really visible. Either they are exercising a lot or they’re just you’re just born this way. This is your property. This is how you were born. Either gain weight or during your lifespan when you are in the 30s or 40s. That’s more their property where they are moved away from their personal or their natural birth character or personality.

[00:02:20.790]

And that’s where disease leaves form. So as a practitioner, this is what we identify first is your body type, your emotion type, your mind type and see which is more increased and what are the qualities there are or symptoms that are causing. And several similar symptoms will increase that energy or the Votto. But it the up and the opposite quality will decrease or balance. So understanding of what the body type Benteen Tallgrass, Nemirovsky, and generally this is in the cases that we all are, a mixture of all the that also depend on your parents and depending on what environment you grow in.

[00:03:04.770]

So Lotto’s generally are also described as tall and thin, having thin here, dry, scaley, mainly dry your skin. Very easy to get hungry and thirsty because they are just that, you know, personality. They’re always moving, they’re always on the go. They have a tendency to get more anxiety, more anxious, more, you know. Stress because they’re always thinking also in their minds, always moving just like you, it’s always moving and drawing.

[00:03:42.030]

Their minds will always be dry. They feel, you know, thirsty very quick. They may be sweating a lot more. You know, they talk a little fast, they talk a lot, you can see just me when I’m talking and I’m moving. Have you seen my videos? I move a lot of my hand gestures and such. So that is the part. I mean, that is increasing. Now, I do have the cuff sometimes also and the pick sports.

[00:04:08.460]

So everybody is a little bit different. And depending on where you are off, you will tend to see more of those issues and there certain symptoms of certain diseases that are about to fall in more likely. And you know, that will what we will discuss in the next few episodes. But just to identify that the person is tall, thin, long hair, thin, is here talking too fast. And, you know, just like an example would be if you’re sitting if three people are sitting in a restaurant and they’re ready to order, the bottle was never decisive to what they want to eat.

[00:04:42.480]

They will look at the menu and say, is this going to last? The waiter or waitresses? Do you know which one is better? Who has tried it? So they’re not sure exactly what they want. So the decision making also could be very and that shows an exact lot of personality. So as a practitioner, identifying that makes it easy for us or for me to figure out where they’re going straight or wrong and where we can help and which herbs we can help to decrease that bottom, because remember, the opposite qualities will decrease that particular energy.

[00:05:21.360]

And we’re bringing those herbs that we bring in the diet or we bring those activities which will help balance that VATA body type. So then you know, the Vata body types are the ectomorph. They’re 10 tall, very quick and doing things very quick and getting tired, also very energetic. But they get tired, very quick, very sporty, athletic, but they can burn out themselves very fast because they’re just on the go all the time, lack of sleep, those who have sleep issues or sleep apnea.

[00:05:53.580]

And a lot of those may have a lot of anxiety coming up with stress. Not able to focus on the lack of concentration would be a sign of a lack of body type, but. In the physical room and the mental and the psychological, it’s very similar. We’re identifying that particular body types makes things easier for yourself. Also, if you identify yourself or a loved one in that particular stage in their life, then you can introduce the opposite quality food or diet or activities or even herbs to help balance that where the waters are increasing by a stringent taste, by spicy or I would say pungent and bitter.

[00:06:44.860]

So you would think you would bring in sweet, sour, salty foods to pacify the body. So I hope that gives us the little tip on the water body type. Next, we’ll cover the picked up body type and then we’ll go into the diseases or the issues that the water and the pictures of the couples are going to tend to fall into. I hope you have a great week. Please keep safe. We’ll talk again. And Vitamin Wednesday.
