Is Metabolic Syndrome The Real Reason Your Weight Loss Program Isn’t Working?
A recent New York Times article in the magazine section spoke about the “metabolic syndrome” that is going on in our bodies as a source of genuine concern for the underlying cause of dis-ease. This is really no different from calling it inflammation, but the words actually describe the process that goes on inside our body in relationship to sugar and carbohydrate loads in the pancreas. Far gone is Louis Pasteur’s “the germ theory”. Modern life has evolved its own cause.

The problem begins with “sugar“, a true poison and the hidden places that sugar lives. High Fructose Corn Syrup is more like a plague running through so many foods in the aisles of supermarket foods and in the bodies of our children.
With constant spikes in insulin from foods laden with many sugar, we are setting the stage for a predicative condition which is called “metabolic syndrome”. And not to negate ADD, early osteoporosis for children, cancer, and the lack of focus people are having in their lives.
Metabolic Syndrome to Physical Wellness Strive for Progress Not Perfection!
Sugar wreaks on the immune system , the pancreas and so much more. Most of those packaged foods have such unhealthy fats in them that are toxic to the brain. I wish there was a ban on eating them. The USDA and FDA allow these ingredients in foods and we need not buy them and offer them as “love” to anyone.
One glass of lemonade or piece of cake for a child has over one day’s healthy portion of sugar. Sugar should come from real fruits only, a little maple syrup or honey, and that’s it. That is all the body can recognize and tolerate.
So a great recommendation for avoiding this is to eat every three hours and keep our blood sugar sustained so we can be focused, and for women, balance their hormones and provide weight control.
Metabolic Syndrome Diet – Can It Work for You?
An outstanding book to fully understand this and how to do it is “the Belly Fat Cure” by Jorge Cruise. This book provides the “sugar/car. b” ratio of all foods. It also explains the importance of the right fats and how much of them to eat. Last, it describes how to eat every three hours with the right amount of protein for your body.

It’s an incredible book that can easily be incorporated into a “lifestyle” rather than a specific diet. It has information people really need to understand. The mantra I’ve shared with our children is that “if it doesn’t grow, don’t eat it”.
Reach for the cause by getting more protein in your day. A good whey protein shake that you can carry with you and mix is irreplaceable. Just add almond , coconut milk, or water so that your mind is at ease and your brain is clear. This is simple and most effective for all blood types.
