According to Dr Parris Kidd, who has done more research on DHA and other essential fatty acids, Krill helps to lower C-reactive protein. This is one of the most important markers for inflammation. C-reactive protein is often high in people who have had heart attacks or strokes. It is very important to know how to manage it.

So by lowering C-reactive protein, you are lowering inflammation. Krill has also been useful for inflammatory diseases. These diseases include arthritis, cardiovascular disease, and stroke.
